Mohini Batish is a visual artist and singer/songwriter from Santa Cruz, California.
As an art student at the University of California Santa Cruz, she engages in a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, photography, and sculpture.
Part of the Batish Family, she grew up in a musical community. She is the daughter of Ashwin Batish, creator of Sitar Power: a renowned, first of its kind album fusing together North Indian music with western styles of rock, jazz, and R&B. Her brother, 23 year old Keshav Batish is an accomplished jazz and world music percussionist as well as contemporary composer.
